Intellident security solutions are designed to prevent entrance and exit loss in libraries. We offer a unique range of products for all types of libraries, which are most effective when used alongside our range of RFID self-service equipment.
Security Gates
Intellident have designed a family of security gates which are both aesthetically pleasing and designed for maximum item detection.
How do security gates work?
When a smart-labelled item is issued to a customer via the self-service stations the security element of the label is deactivated, this allows the customer to exit the library undetected. If however, the item is not issued the security element will remain active and the gate will detect the label. Alerts will then be made either through sound, lights, cctv recording, exit barrier activation or a combination of all four.
Safer Solutions
Media tagging has always proved difficult with RFID technology and our safer solution offers extra protection for these items.
